Welcome to our Guest House Chiave di Volta<\/strong>, an ideal place for those who wish to stay in the heart of Varenna, 10 meters from the most iconic little square on the lake and the end point of the famous Passeggiata degli Innamorati<\/strong>. We are happy to host you and hope that your stay will be pleasant and relaxing. The Guest House is located in the heart of Varenna, in Contrada dei Cavalli at house number 3. The building, of medieval origin witnessed by the splendid stone arched cellar and visitable upon request, is spread over two floors: the ground floor contains the large breakfast area and one of the three rooms with bathroom; the second floor is developed with two more rooms, and a small terrace among the rooftops of Varenna with pleasant direct views of the lake.<\/p>

Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a flat-screen television. In the breakfast room you will find a large refrigerator, coffee maker, stove and oven in case you want to prepare something quick.<\/p>

The terrace on the second floor is divided into two areas; the part on the right reserved for the Germano<\/strong> room, which has a French door exit, and a part accessible from the internal stairs and usable by guests of Rondine<\/strong> and Airone<\/strong>.<\/p>

\"\"The entrance to the guest house is from a typical contrada in downtown Varenna. It is a large green wooden doorway, recognizable because on the right is a letterbox with the inscription Chiave di Volta. The gateway is not locked. Being made of old wood, it has to be pushed hard \ud83d\ude42<\/p>

As soon as you enter, on the left, you will find the 3 padlocks containing keys. Open yours (with the name of the room you booked) and retrieve the keys to gain access to the Guest House; the door is on the right as you enter the gate.<\/p>

We recommend that you watch the videos in the “Video Useful Instructions and Small Emergencies” section for clear directions on how to get to the Guest House. We remind you that it is right in the historic center!<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Entrance is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. <\/strong>and can be done either by physical check-in (meeting with a person) or self check-in (picking up the keys from a lock-box).
