BAITE LA LIDIA E MARIETT

Via Oseno

Guests Instructions

Via per Oseno. It is a country road that connects Sala Comacina to the cabins on the hills. The first part can be driven with a regular car (as long as it’s not too low), while the final stretch can ONLY be driven with small off-road vehicles like a Panda 4×4 or a Jimny. Larger vehicles (including bigger Jeeps) cannot pass through

You can park your car at the cemetery parking lot before continuing on foot or with a suitable vehicle.

Or continue by always following the uphill forks until the last gravel parking area, about 300 meters ahead. From there, the path continues on foot only.
Below is a video of the ascent (we recommend watching it carefully to check distances and the slope).
We suggest wearing trekking clothes and shoes, and bringing light luggage.

You will find two cabins. The first one is La Lidia, the one right behind Mariett. The name is on the door.

The keys are stored in two lockers behind the La Lidia cabin.

The lockers open with codes that will be provided at the appropriate time.
Please remember the code, as it will also be needed to return the keys at the end of your stay.

The cabins are equipped with internet access.
You will find the code inside each cabin, displayed in a small frame.

The road to the cabins can be traveled on foot or with small off-road vehicles (such as a Panda 4×4 or Jimny). These small off-road vehicles can be parked on the land in front of the cabins, where the lockers are located. If you arrive in a car that is not suitable for the road, you will need to park at the cemetery parking area or slightly further ahead, in any available spots.

Please sort your garbage from the beginning of your stay, dividing it into:

  • plastics and cans
  • mixed
  • glass
  • cartoon
  • wet

Leave the bags inside the house. At the end of your stay, we will take care of the disposal.

The cabins are not equipped with heating.
That’s why they are only open during the warmer months.

Emergency unique number: 112

In each cabin, there is an electrical panel. First, check that all the switches are up.

The electrical panel is located near the entrance in both cabins. It looks like this:

If all the switches are up but there’s still no electricity, the main meter might have tripped. It is located outside, on the perimeter wall:

La Lidia can be opened with a small key available at the entrance, while Mariett is already open.
