Welcome!
Welcome to our house! We are happy to host you and hope you have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. This page is designed to provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your experience, while respecting the home and the rules of the Nativoo tribe.
The apartment is managed by Nativoo, a benefit society that pursues measurable and concrete sustainability goals in its bylaws. The apartment is part of the NativooForGood project, which pursues sustainable development goals for short-term rentals in the Lake Como and Valsassina area.
Dear guests,
We hope your trip went well and that you did not encounter any difficulties in reaching Blu al Lago.
Since we did not have the opportunity to welcome you personally and wish you happy vacations, we relied on local professionals to take care of you.
Nativoo will be at your disposal for any kind of support you need.
As owners of the apartment, we wanted to welcome you through this letter and tell you about our adventure.
We are an Italian-Belgian family. (You can tell by the glasses of Belgian beer in the house). I grew up on the lake, but for love I moved abroad where I have lived for 20 years now. At home we speak Italian and Dutch. After many years of sacrifice and research, we managed to buy this apartment, hoping one day to live back in my country. As soon as the opportunity arises, we come back to enjoy the lake, the mountains, our family and friends.
We have furnished and equipped the house as comfortably as possible, trying not to let you guests lack anything. We want you to feel at home and ask you to respect it as if it were your own.
In the residence you will have the opportunity to get to know our dear neighbors. We ask you to take good care of them. They are always helpful and welcoming. If you treat them and the property with respect and politeness, they will be happy to welcome you and share with you unforgettable moments of this your vacation on Lake Como.
Enjoy and thank you for choosing our home.
BLU AL LAGO is the ideal apartment for families who want a stay on the eastern shore of the lake. You’ll be able to walk to the famous beaches from the lake or hike on the scenic paths of the Lecco mountains, such as the Sentiero del Viandante (Wayfarer’s Path). Or you can simply enjoy a relaxing day at the edge of the large swimming pool of the residence with park in which our apartment is inserted. We are just a few hundred meters from the train station that connects Milan to the entire eastern shore of the lake; you can easily reach famous destinations such as Varenna, Bellano, Bellagio, Dervio, Colico, Mandello or Lecco. If you arrive by car, you will have a convenient covered garage at your disposal.

According to national legal regulations and those dictated by WHO (the World Health Organization) , the ideal temperature to be kept in the home should be around 20° C, with a maximum fluctuation of 2° over or under, so that means it should be between 18° and 22° C.

Pets in this house are unfortunately not accepted.
The City of Lierna requires the payment of the tourist tax of 1€/person/night, for a maximum of 5 nights to be paid for each guest aged 14 and over.
In Italy there is an obligation to report guests of non-hotel facilities to the police headquarters. The house manager is responsible for collecting and verifying guest data and reporting them to the police headquarters within 24 hours for stays longer than a day and immediately for stays shorter than 24 hours.
Failure to submit data in the timeframe prescribed by law is a criminal offense.
Italian law provides that for short rentals (i.e., up to 29 nights) it is not necessary to file a rental contract; nevertheless, for greater protection and clarity between the parties Nativoo calls for the signing of a set of house rules that clarify the obligations and rights of the parties.
About 24h before check-out Nativoo will send a message containing useful information to better manage the release of the property.
These rules can be viewed at this link: www.nativoo.it/check-out
